Designing Perdido Creek Floodplain Restoration to Improve Resiliency and Wildlife Habitat

This award will reduce sediment input, create suitable habitat for fish and wildlife, create floodplain connectivity, and improve water quality in the Perdido River Watershed in south Alabama. The project will review engineered designs in partnership with the USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service to provide community resilience and rehabilitate a culturally significant site.
